A Music Cue Sheet is a reporting form that logs the usage of music within various
types
of
Productions, Stage Shows, Audio Visual Presentations, Webcasts, Radio and
Television
broadcasts.
Based on music cue sheet information, publishers, artists, composers and musicians
are
paid
royalties for the use of their musical works in these various productions.
In the past, this was a manual process, whereby a production secretary, or the like,
would
have to write the relevant information on the physical piece of paper. Some use
spreadsheets.
Others use Word documents.
Enter RECUE.
The RECUE service is a web-based music cue sheet generator that
uses
various time-saving methods and workflows to facilitate the accurate and speedy
completion of music
cue sheets.
In some cases, a large part of the process is completely automated
saving
time and
money in the studio.
Spreadsheets are archaic and get lost. Keep your music cue sheets neatly organized in RECUE's web-based environment. Documents are available at the touch of a button. RECUE will deliver submitted cue sheets to all the interested parties instantly.
This varies based on the region you operate in. Certain templates and document types
are not

A Final Control sheet is a log containing metadata about the broadcast information
of a
media

Broadcasters typically use these documents as a means to know what
segmentation appears in a particular program.
Segment descriptions are usually also added for visual identification during the
quality
control process. It also contains technical specifications about the video and audio
streams
contained in the media asset. Often it will also contain other relevant information
which is useful
when archiving the media asset.
Other information like contacts and a show synopsis could also be provided on these forms.
This varies based on the services used.
